Retreat to the life of an artist. Visit me in Caledon and spend the weekend creating artwork of Canvas and Fresco. Join me at my home for some relaxation and art exploration. Friday night settle in to your private room and receive our welcome with Charcuterie & chit chat in our 100 year old cottage. Saturday wake for breakfast and begin the day with a mindful creative flow of fresco work. After lunch we will transition to canvas for intuitive abstracts and wind down after dinner examining what we have discovered using our abstract play as a jumping point for Sunday’s deep dive into painting our fresco base. Sunday begins with breakfast and a return right back into fresco painting with fresh eyes for the rest of your time with me.

Friday: Arrival between 6 & 9:00 pm : Enjoy beverages, charcuterie, a tour of the cottage and studio, chit chat and cozy fire if weather permits. Settle into your queen bed and relax at your leisure or make a plan to visit your favourite Caldeon brewery for last call.

Saturday: Breakfast in the cottage and short walk to the barn where the art adventure begins. We start with creating our fresco base and once complete we turn to canvas play. Instruction on the Fresco base and Intuitive canvas prompts will be given by me along with colour theory and composition analysis. I am with you all the way. We will break for lunch and return to continue exploring and examining as we sharpen our creative skills. Depending on your progress we will develop a plan for your fresco and begin the painting journey over the afternoon and evening , stopping for dinner of course.

Sunday: Breakfast in the cottage and it’s time to continue the fresco journey! Learn how to execute the art plan and bring your Fresco to life! Take your time and be mindful of your layers, there is no rush, the studio is open to your exploration from 9:00 - 3:00 with snacks at 1:00.
