A workshop dedicated to the creation of the base of my work. It is the first step in my process, it is my canvas, my set intention. We will create the foundational signature white work in this workshop.We will not be adding paint or colour to these pieces on this day.

Curious heart about this art? How would you like to spend a Sunday afternoon with me at the flower farm? We will romance ourselves in the fragrance of flowers and art making. Picking and plucking our subjects of affection and then capturing them forever using the techniques of Old. We will enjoy delicious snacks, create and talk flowers and art.
OCTOBER:
Capturing the transition in our hands.
Together, we will explore the flower fields of La Primavera Farms and learn to discern which flowers are best for this art form. We will snip 10 to 20 stems and take in the fresh air and the warmth of the field then bring these perfect little blooms back to our home for the day, a 100 year old barn, to create beautiful works of art.
Thinking of composition and how to serve the flowers best, we will together go through the process of creating our framework. Examining the natural shape of our living materials and the nature of the art , you will learn the skills to asses and plan your piece.
Once we share a firm grasp on what our flowers want us to show, we will complete the process with tidbits and fact of the material used and the full process of the art.
Together we will create beautiful works of art capturing the seasonal flowers in perfect time.
This course includes the use of all materials required to create your artwork, guided assistance to create your artwork, a walking tour of the farm and some delicious snacks and beverages to nourish us on our creative journey.
