A workshop dedicated to the colourful creation of a 8x8 artwork. This class will encompass creation of our canvas and process to complete a full coloured limited palette original artwork.

Curious heart about this art? How would you like to spend a Sunday afternoon with me at the flower farm? We will romance ourselves in the fragrance of flowers and art making.

Capturing Summer in our hands.
From a collection of carefully curated bounty of freshly picked blooms we will build our canvas, choose our limited palette and explore the world of colour application, creating our original 8x8 artwork.
Thinking of composition and how to serve the flowers best, we will together go through the process of creating our framework. Examining the natural shape of our living materials and the nature of the art , you will learn the skills to asses and plan your piece. Once we share a firm grasp on what our flowers want us to show, we will complete the process with tidbits and fact of the material used and the full process of the art. We will explore colour palettes, applying washes and details to create a full colour finished piece.

Together we will create beautiful works of art capturing the seasonal flowers in perfect time.

This course includes the use of all materials required to create your artwork, guided assistance to create your artwork, and some delicious snacks and beverages to nourish us on our creative journey.
