Mel Mulder - Fresco Art - Fine Art - Object Builder - Creatrix just like you

Welcome, I’m Mel, my work moves between the freedom of canvas and the grounding peaks and borders of fresco relief. Canvas opens me to flow, colour, and sky, while gypsum relief carries the imprint of earth, flowers, foliage, and the fleeting forms of nature held in stone. Together they give me the room to express myself with openness on those BIG canvas surfaces and rootedness between the natural ridges of relief. I paint to preserve what passes, to remember freshness of land, flora, and time in a way that lingers and remembers its glory days. I am a Canadian artist and creativity explorer. Here you can adventure with me as I contemplate and investigate nature, colour, texture, line, structure, fragility and quiet organic form to co-create art.

I truly believe we are more similar then we are different and if you would like create your own masterpiece please feel free to check out my online course or catch me this year at my home and studio in Caledon, Ontario for an in- person workshop. I absolutely would love to explore and create together with you, to hear about and help you translate the world through your eyes. - Frescos, Canvas, or Objects.
